For some reason I keep thinking that today is Tuesday. I guess I’d rather be one day behind than one day ahead 🙂
This morning was a little crazy. My mind is feeling pretty scatterbrained right now. I hate when that happens!
Two attention-whorish things I wanted to share on the exercise front:
1. Our zumba instructor kicked our butts last night. My coworkers and switched to a different instructor because we wanted to change class times. And wow, this new instructor is CRAZY!! I was sweating by the end of the FIRST song. wowsa!
2. At 6:07 am this morning I woke up and was out the door on my run by 6:30! It was a little snowy along the roads but I dressed warmly in tights and a jacket, and wore my trusty reflecting vest and head lamp. It was really nice to be out running early and watch the sky get lighter with each step that I took.
I have a happy hour tonight so I knew that if I didn’t get out the door this morning it wouldn’t happen. It definitely felt great to have my run done by 7am! I’m tempted to try to do it again tomorrow because they’re calling for some heavy snow tomorrow evening. we will see. depends on how much will power I have.
I noticed that I have been SUPER hungry this morning, despite eating my typical breakfast (chobani greek yogurt + bear naked granola) – I wonder if there’s any correlation between morning running and hunger level?
I’m not a huge fan of snow so I’m happy to see that the sun has come out and the snow is melting little by little.
