Friday Fitness Recap – February 15

I feel good about my workouts this week. I pushed myself and was able to fit everything in despite a pretty crazy week at work and in my personal life.

Saturday – 6 miles easy (1:21:19)
Sunday – Rest
Monday – 4 miles on the treadmill with some speed work (53:40)
Tuesday – 3 miles on the treadmill, easy (42:43) + yoga over lunch + Zumba in the evening. whew.
Wednesday – kickboxing (my abs are STILL sore from this weeks class!)
Thursday – 4 miles outside! 51:36
Friday – Hoping to squeeze in 30 day shred this evening.

Total miles: 17
Total time: 7 hrs

Same total time and miles as last week. Go figure.

My run yesterday was simply awesome. I ended up having to run after work because I had to be at work at 7am. I am normally not a fan of running after work, I find it tough to be motivated after working all day. But I got out there and the sun was out, it was in the 40s and I sort of got in the zone! It was so nice to run outside that I ended up booking it pretty fast unintentionally. I felt strong, even going up the many hills in my neighborhood. I did have to stop a few times to cross roads/avoid snow covered roads and such, but I’m pretty happy with my time regardless.

I love when awesome runs like that happen. 🙂
