Training for Two Half Marathons in One Weekend – Weeks 14

Last week was the last week of training for my 2 halfs 1 weekend challenge!

Spoiler: The challenge was a complete and awesome success!


The races both had their highs and lows but I finished them up (and mooned up to Jupiter in Half Fanatics)!  I’ll have detailed recaps of both races coming in the next few days. 🙂

Here’s how my taper last week went.

Monday – 3 miles easy + 4 strides at lunch.

Tuesday – 3 miles easy on the treadmill

Wednesday – RPM + 45 minutes of BodyFlow

Thursday – Rest

Friday – 2 miles easy getting faster towards the end.

Saturday – Rock n Roll Philadelphia Half Marathon!!

Sunday – Delaware & Lehigh Heritage Half Marathon!
