Weekly Workout Recap: 5/16 – 5/22

Last week I tried to take it easy and recovery from the Harpers Ferry Half Marathon the previous Saturday.  I fit in an extra BodyFlow class on Monday after work, and skipped GRIT during the week. On Friday I worked from home but had a doctors appointment over lunch. I realized that my doctors office is about 3.5 miles away – totally bikeable! So I biked there and back since the weather was GORGEOUS. I planned to run a medium range run (6-8 miles) over the weekend but my ankle has been feeling a little bit stiff. I didn’t want to press my luck with running since I have a race coming up this weekend so I just took a CXWORX class that focused on my core.

Monday – 3 mile group run in the AM, 60 minute BodyFlow in the PM


Tuesday – BodyPump in the AM

Wednesday – 3 mile group run + 45 min BodyFlow in the AM


Thursday – BodyPump in the AM, 6 miles of exploring on the bike in the PM

Friday – 6 mile group run in the AM, Biked to a doctors appointment and back over lunch for a total of 7ish miles


Saturday – Rest

Sunday – CXWORX

    Becca –

    I so enjoy reading your blog. I run many of the same races you do, and always go to your blog for a review beforehand, so I feel like I’m not going into these races “blind.” Perhaps I’ll see you in Johnstown tomorrow!
