Weekly Workout Recap 5/15-5/21

Hey Friends! Happy Tuesday. I’m a day late this week but that’s better than not posting at all! Here’s how last week went:

Monday – 3.3 miles in the AM

Tuesday – BodyPump + 3 miles in the AM — Still loving Post-Pump runs!

Wednesday – 5 miles in the AM

Thursday – My regular BodyPump class didn’t happen (the instructor had an issue getting to the gym) so we ran from the gym to the local High School track and ran around it, alternating one lap with 30 seconds of push-ups, burpees, planks, lunges, tricep dips, mountain climbers, etc.  It came out to about 2 miles of running + some body weight exercises. I did Group Power (which is like BodyPump) in the PM

Friday – 5 miles in the AM – This was TOUGH. It was the first humid run we’ve had all year and I was feeling it. It felt like running through peanut butter, ick.

Saturday – 5.5 miles – We ran an out and back on a local trail and it was a nice change of pace (literally) and nice to run in a different area.  These miles were nice, easy, and relaxing. Perfection.

Sunday – Rest Day!

This week I am tapering before the Buffalo Half Marathon on Sunday! woo! Race week!
