Weekly Workout Recap 5/22-5/28

Happy Memorial Day to my American readers. I am thankful for the service of those that paid the ultimate price to protect our country.  To any current, former or family members of folks in military service, thank you for your sacrifices as well.

I got in a good amount of running mileage last week, though not so much cross training, since I was tapering a little bit and trying to rest for the Buffalo Half Marathon!

Monday – 3.3 miles easy in the AM

Tuesday – BodyPump + 3.1 miles in the AM

Wednesday – 5 miles in the AM, CXWORX in the PM

Thursday – Rest day – I had planned for an easy outside run but it was pouring and cold, and since I had a race a few days later I didn’t want to risk getting sick for a few extra miles. 🙂

Friday – Planned rest day

Saturday – 3 mile shakeout run: 2.5 miles easy and a gradual pickup to goal pace at the end.


Sunday – Buffalo Half Marathon! Race recap coming soon!!
