Weekly Workout Recap 8/14-8/20

Happy Monday and Happy Eclipse Day to those of you in the USA’s eclipse path (is that what its called?? haha).

Last week’s workouts went really great. I got in plenty of running miles, and two GRIT Plyos! Plus some BodyPump and corework with CXWORX. Overall it was a really well rounded week.

I’ve got my first half marathon of the fall coming up on September 2nd so I was glad to get in another 10 mile run over the weekend. This first race will be just for fun but I’m feeling good about where my running mileage and pace is.

Lets get to the details…

Monday – 3 miles in the AM, GRIT Plyo in the PM. Though I hate GRIT Plyo with the fire of a thousand suns, I loooooved this one. I felt so strong and was able to really push myself.


Tuesday – BodyPump + 3 miles in the AM


Wednesday – 5 miles in the AM, Lunchtime Yoga, GRIT Plyo + CXWORX in the PM


Thursday – BodyPump + 3 miles in the AM

Friday – 3.5 miles + 30 minute BodyPump + CXWORX in the PM. This run was HOT and soooo humid.


Saturday – 10 miles. I had originally planned to do 8 but felt great so I expanded my 8 mile loop to hit 10 instead. πŸ™‚ I am feeling good and ready for my first half of the fall in two weeks!

Sunday – Rest day. I think my Garmin said I did 200 steps, haha. It was plugged in for part of the day but still. I rest hard. πŸ™‚
