Weekly Workout Recap 8/21-8/27

Hi guys!!! I’m a bit delayed this week because for the last few days I’ve been in beautiful San Francisco!!!


I’m here for a work conference and have been fitting in PLENTY of exploring and of course running! ย I’ll be running my first half marathon of the fall season this weekend too so this week has really been a blast. I’ll be sure to recap my adventures in next weeks recap!

For now, here’s how last week went. I spent the week cutting back on my running mileage a tad in order to start to taper for the race, but also made sure to get in all of my group fitness classes since I would be away from home this week.

Monday – 4 miles in the AM, GRIT Cardio in the PM

Tuesday – BodyPump + 3 miles in the AM

Wednesday – 5 miles in the AM, Lunchtime Yoga

Thursday – BodyPump + 3 miles in the AM

Friday – 5 miles in the AM, 30 minute BodyPump + CXWORX in the PM

Saturday – 3.5 mile hike

Sunday – BodyPump

I technically didn’t have a full rest day, though Saturdays hike was pretty relaxed. I wanted to get in plenty of strength work since I’m away from home this week, and I knew that this week I would have a bit more down time workout-wise.
