Weekly Workout Recap 8/21-8/27

Hi guys!!! I’m a bit delayed this week because for the last few days I’ve been in beautiful San Francisco!!!

I’m here for a work conference and have been fitting in PLENTY of exploring and of course running!  I’ll be running my first half marathon of the fall season this weekend too so this week has really been a blast. I’ll be sure to recap my adventures in next weeks recap!

For now, here’s how last week went. I spent the week cutting back on my running mileage a tad in order to start to taper for the race, but also made sure to get in all of my group fitness classes since I would be away from home this week.

Monday – 4 miles in the AM, GRIT Cardio in the PM

Tuesday – BodyPump + 3 miles in the AM

Wednesday – 5 miles in the AM, Lunchtime Yoga

Thursday – BodyPump + 3 miles in the AM

Friday – 5 miles in the AM, 30 minute BodyPump + CXWORX in the PM

Saturday – 3.5 mile hike

Sunday – BodyPump

I technically didn’t have a full rest day, though Saturdays hike was pretty relaxed. I wanted to get in plenty of strength work since I’m away from home this week, and I knew that this week I would have a bit more down time workout-wise.
