Weekly Workout Recap 9/25-10/1

Happy Monday and Happy October! Man, I have no idea where September went, but here we are!

Last week was a good week of running after taking a week off for being in the Smokies. Β I got back into my running routine, but had to cut back on cross training a bit in preperation for my first fall half marathon over the weekend.

Monday – I wasn’t feeling an early morning run so I ran 5 miles on the treadmill since it was so stinking hot in the afternoon. It wasn’t as fun as running with my running friends but it is what it is.

Tuesday – BodyPump + 2.3 miles in the AM. I didn’t use any weight for squats or lunges due to my upcoming race, but went all out on my upper body. It felt good. I was under more of a time constraint than normal so I cut my post-Pump run a bit short.

Wednesday – 5.2 miles in the AM

Thursday – 2.3 miles in the AM. I was running with others and we made it back to our starting point in 2.3 miles (and they continued on to 5 which I knew I shouldn’t do). So 2.3 it was.

Friday – Rest day

Saturday – Corelle 5k as part of the Wineglass Marathon weekend! Race recap coming soon. I treated the 5k as a pre-race shake out run.

Sunday – Wineglass Half Marathon!! This half went wonderfully!!! I’ll have a recap of this soon too. πŸ™‚
